See more clearly
Understand what is already working and where assumptions, gaps or tensions may be hiding.
The lived and living experience and expertise lens
Helping organisations strengthen lived and living experience and expertise through thoughtful project reviews, practical tools and evidence-informed guidance.
A fresh perspective on your project
You need someone to read carefully, think deeply and tell you what they notice.
The LX Project Review identifies strengths worth protecting, questions worth resolving and practical ways to strengthen the work before important opportunities or decisions are missed.
See how Project Reviews work →Why The LX Lens?
Projects can invite people in while remaining unclear about what they can influence, how they will be supported, who interprets what is learned or what happens next. The LX Lens makes those patterns easier to see and change.
Understand what is already working and where assumptions, gaps or tensions may be hiding.
Move beyond attendance and involvement towards meaningful contribution to what is learned, designed or decided.
Turn reflection into practical priorities that fit the project’s purpose, stage and real-world constraints.
The heart of the approach
Five connected areas help projects involve lived and living experience and expertise more clearly, meaningfully and accountably.

The person behind the lens
I created The LX Lens because I kept seeing thoughtful organisations trying to involve lived and living experience well, yet struggling to turn good intentions into meaningful influence.
I bring more than 25 years across lived experience leadership, research, service design, strategy, evaluation and organisational change. My work is calm, direct and collaborative: thoughtful challenge without theatre.
