SMALL PRINT. HUMAN LANGUAGE.
A little housekeeping.
No biscuit tin.
Here’s how this site uses cookies and similar tools - and what stays on your device.
We have not added advertising or visitor analytics scripts. You can read the Essentials and use the project check without an account or email. Security tools help protect the website and its forms.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can store in your browser. Similar tools, such as session storage, can remember a choice during a visit. They aren’t all used for tracking.
What this site uses
Security and spam protection
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Our contact and sector-pulse forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse. These services process technical information, including IP addresses and browser information. Depending on the security checks applied, Cloudflare may use security cookies such as cf_clearance. We do not use these tools for advertising.
Cloudflare determines the lifetime of any security cookies it sets. Its cookie information ↗ explains these cookies and their durations. Their presence can vary with the checks your visit requires.
Remembering “Got it”
If you dismiss our housekeeping notice, we save lx-housekeeping-v1 in your browser’s session storage so it stays out of your way in that tab. It contains only “dismissed”, is not sent to us and normally clears when you close the tab. It does not enable tracking or change any consent settings.
Your project-check answers
Your answers are held in the current page’s memory, not in cookies or saved browser storage. Refreshing or closing the page clears them. Your results presentation is made on your device; a downloaded copy stays wherever you save it.
External services
Kit signup and Find A Helpline open on separate websites with their own privacy and cookie practices. We do not embed Kit on this site. Contact messages are processed through Web3Forms when you submit the form; see our privacy page for details.
Your choices
There are currently no optional advertising or analytics cookies for you to switch on here, so we don’t ask you to “accept all”. You can use your browser settings to block or clear cookies and site data. Blocking security tools may prevent forms from working.
You can reopen the housekeeping notice using the button below. If session storage is unavailable, the notice still works, but may reappear when you navigate.
If optional tracking is introduced later, this page and the relevant choices will be updated before it is enabled.
A question about your information?
Use our contact form. It is not monitored daily; please allow 3–5 working days for a response.
